Morgan Freeman plays an actor who's very fussy and hard to please when it comes to committing to a film project hence his long absence from the screen. Deciding on whether to accept a role playing a supermarket manager he visits a small ethnic market on the outskirts of Los Angeles to do some research. His careful preparations backfire when he becomes stranded with no transportation and no cell phone. Striking up a conversation with a girl manning the store's express till he meets Scarlett (Paz Vega). Completely mismatched they begin to find things they have in common with each other and Scarlett offers to drive him back to 'civilization', which might possibly even lead to an audition for a job that could change her life... |
