Synopsis

The feature debut of French filmmaker François Truffaut, THE 400 BLOWS was shot on the streets of Paris and conveys an authentic story of a 13 year-old boy, Antoine Doinel (Jean-Pierre Léaud) constantly in trouble - emotional, psychological, sociological - as he teeters on the edge of delinquency.
