The film stars two of France's most popular actresses, Isabelle Huppert (THE PIANO TEACHER and voted European Actress of the Year) and Jeanne Balibar (VA SAVOIR), and tells of Camille, who, on his ninth birthday, announces to his parents that he believes that they are not his 'true' mother and father and wants to return to his 'real' mother.
