Synopsis

Awaiting the end of World War I, Vaslav Nijinsky (Derek Jakobi) was in St Moritz with his wife Romola (Delia Silvan) and their daughter Kyra, towards the end of 1917. The famous dancer had split with Diaghilev's Ballets Russes and discovered it to be almost impossible to secure other engagements. A year later, Nijinsky suffered a mental breakdown, and recorded his struggles in his notebooks.
