Synopsis

Based on a novel by Daphne du Maurier this thriller is the story of a married couple, Laura (Julie Christie) and John Baxter (Donald Sutherland), who recently lost their child in a tragic drowning accident. While staying in Venice trying to come to terms with their daughter's death, a series of sinister and strange events overtake the Baxters. A classic movie by director Nicolas Roeg.
