Coming round in hospital, Bill is suffering from both amnesia and paranoia. He is delusional and is convinced he is part of a government experiment and on the point of being given a lethal injection. Enter doctor Anne Johnson (Hope Davis) who has the task of evaluating Bill to try and establish what treatment is required and so follows a series of emotionally charged sessions. Through Bill's paranoiac, muddled haze there's one nagging question that won't go away - is Anne there to help him or kill him? |
