Synopsis

The first time feature of director Malgorzata Szumowska, HAPPY DAYS is a lucid character study of a thirties slacker. A would-be writer who is all too happy and cosy living, much cheaper, with his mother, he finally decides to improve his ways when he learns that she may be terminally ill. He knows that his mother wants him to settle down and get married so he sets about finding a girl in order to bring his mother happiness.
