Synopsis

The dethroned but still imperious princess and her faithful general somehow get through enemy lines, more hindered than helped by two greedy country folk who get themselves involved in the exciting complications of plot full of escapades that keep happening right up to the close of the film. THE HIDDEN FORTRESS is the film that also so impressed George Lucas he used the plot as the premise for STAR WARS.
