George (Tunde Adebimpe) on the surface appears to be shy and expressionless but inside he is an extrovert person with a zest for life. Travelling to the Niagara Falls to meet Sophie (Abiola Wendy Abrams), his bride in an arranged marriage through his relatives in Africa, he meets an outspoken Frenchman Gérard (Hippolyte Girardot), whose fiancée no longer wants to marry him. On route they meet up with a beautiful, exciting Spanish woman, Alicia (Natalia Verbeke) and are both invited to a party. George is instantly smitten with Alicia. They continue their journey to Niagara Falls with her boyfriend in tow. |
