Her straight forward but intense approach though captivating can also be intimidating for those who work under her. However the daily routines at her home and work place are put to the test by the arrival of her 9 year-old niece Zoe (Abigail Breslin) that she 'inherits' and a new sous-chef Nick Palmer (Aaron Eckhart) who joins her staff. Consequently her perfectionist ways are put to the test. Nick is the total opposite to Kate, yet their rivalry can't hide the chemistry between them and will she be able to identify with Zoe? |
