Synopsis

PURITAN, a psychological thriller, stars Nick Moran as Simon Puritan who plays a troubled writer struggling through the aftermath of a failed marriage. Puritan has an obsessive interest in paranormal activity and supernatural events. Consequently his main source of income is as a medium in which he brings solace to the bereaved who pay him for his services.

Disgusted with himself after his latest crooked séance, Puritan drowns his sorrows and is almost killed by a train as it pulls into the station when he drunkenly lunges on the platform. A stranger cries out a warning, but it is too late and Puritan’s actions kick start a series of eerie and unexpected events…

PURITAN is an intelligent and intense edge-of-your-seat thriller, tackling fascinating issues such as time-travel, communication with the dead and the concept of the ‘Fourth Dimension’.

PURITAN is a gripping supernatural puzzler that keeps its secret until its final moments and stars an eclectic mix of talent including LOCK STOCK’s Nick Moran, the original ‘Hutch’ and star of JERRY SPRINGER THE OPERA David Soul, Ralph Brown known for his cult role in WITHNAIL AND I as well as appearing in many other films and TV dramas and Georgina Rylance whose feature film credits include HELLRAISER: DEADER.
