When Lawrence injures his head he falls for doctor, and former student, Janet (Sarah Jessica Parker). Almost immediately afterwards, his good-for-nothing brother (Thomas Haden Church) suddenly turns up on his doorstep, low on cash and looking for a place to stay. These unexpected state of affairs Lawrence is catapulted into jolt him from his deep, deep freeze, with often comical, sometimes heartbreaking, consequences for himself and everyone around him. |
