This moving story shows how the strength of love between brother and sister can overcome adversity. Set in a Kurdish village, the film centres on a young family of six children. Their parents are dead and they are forced to work long and hard just to survive. When Ayoub, who although just a teenager is the head of the family, finds out that his brother Madi has a life-threatening illness, the family hatch a plot full of potential hazards in order to earn some extra money to get him the urgent medical treatment he needs. However will all their efforts be in vain? |
